Composites in Posterior Teeth

Upper and Lower Posterior Composites

1.- Deep Cleaning: Scaling and Root Planing. Sometimes at a glance there is very little tartar visible, however upon a more detailed examination and with the aid of x-rays,  tartar under the gum is identified and needs to be removed to stop further damage that with time can contribute to teeth loss.

2.- Composites in the molars due to caries (cavities) and sealants in some pre-molars to help prevent future caries. Sealants fill-in the deep grooves of teeth, to reduce plaque build-up and the risk of caries (cavities) in these areas.
